HARRISBURG (May 8, 2019) — Scranton-based lawyer Jennifer Menichini of Joyce, Carmody & Moran PC will become the chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Young Lawyers Division at the conclusion of the PBA Annual Meeting, May 17, in Lancaster.
Active at both the state and local levels of the organized bar, Menichini is concluding a one-year term as chair-elect of the PBA YLD.
During 2017-18, Menichini served as PBA YLD secretary, co-chair of the PBA YLD executive committee for the PBA Statewide High School Mock Trial Competition and a regional coordinator for the competition.
She is the current chair of the PBA Federal Practice Committee’s Outreach and Diversity Subcommittee.
Since 2015, Menichini has been a voting member of the PBA House of Delegates, the policymaking body of the association. She also is a member of the PBA Commission on Women in the Profession, PBA Labor and Employment Law Section, PBA Quality of Life/Balance Committee, PBA Solo and Small Firm Section and the PBA Task Force on Dues Structure.
She was a member of the PBA Bar Leadership Institute, class of 2015-16.
Menichini is a past president of the Middle District of Pennsylvania Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.
She is a member and serves on the Board of Directors of the Lackawanna Bar Association. She is a past president of the Lackawanna Bar Association Young Lawyers Division.
Menichini also is a member of the Wilkes-Barre Law and Library Association and the Monroe County Bar Association.
Menichini graduated with honors from the University of Scranton and earned a J.D. from Duquesne University.
