Berks County Lawyer Terry D. Weiler to Begin Third One-Year Term as PBA Treasurer

HARRISBURG (May 8, 2019) — Berks County lawyer Terry D. Weiler, a partner in the Wyomissing law firm of Huckabee, Weiler & Levengood PC, will begin his third and final one-year term as treasurer of the Pennsylvania Bar Association at the conclusion of the association’s Annual Meeting, May 17, in Lancaster.

In addition to his role as treasurer, Weiler is chair of the PBA Finance Committee, Investment Committee and Planning Committee. He also is a member of the PBA Non-Dues Revenue Task Force.

From 2013 to 2016, Weiler served as one of 12 zone governors on the PBA Board of Governors. In that role, he represented Berks, Carbon, Lehigh, Northampton and Schuylkill county lawyers.

He is a past member of the PBA Nominating Committee and the PBA Diversity Task Force. He is a past president, vice president, secretary and treasurer of the PBA Conference of County Bar Leaders. He also is a past vice chair of the PBA Quality of Life/Balance Committee. He was a member of the PBA Professionalism and Client and Community Relations committees and served on PBA task forces dealing with governance and legislative relations issues.

Weiler is a past member of board of directors for the Pennsylvania Bar Foundation, the charitable affiliate of the PBA.

Weiler is a former president and director of the Berks County Bar Association and president of the Law Foundation of Berks County. He is a member of the American Bar Association. He serves on the board of directors of the Family Guidance Center of Berks County and is a former board member of Campfire Boys and Girls of Reading-Berks County.

Weiler is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and Temple University School of Law.
