Remote bar exam: Connecting bar applicants with testing spaces

It’s critical that every bar applicant taking the remote bar exam Oct. 5-7 has equal access to adequate testing space. The PBA has partnered with the Board of Law Examiners to help connect lawyer candidates with rooms with stable Wi-Fi connections. If your firm has a space to offer, please complete this form by Sept. 11. (Candidates may also need access to a computer with a camera, if available.) Get more information.

PBA COVID-19 Task Force tools and resources

The PBA COVID-19 Task Force has compiled an informational tool, “Reopening Your Practice: Considerations from the Pennsylvania Bar Association” (member login required). The task force’s Resources Guide, updated regularly, provides links to federal information and programs to assist small businesses, and much more.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the bar exam has been postponed until October. The PBA Covid-19 Task Force has initiated the PBA Project Board to help recent law school graduates gain paid short- and long-term professional assignments and to help members find the limited-time legal support they need.
