Trailblazer Award
The purpose of the Trailblazer Award is to encourage and promote the practice of real property law and probate and trust law among young lawyers. The award will alternate each year between real property and probate/trust. To be eligible for the award, a person must be a “young lawyer” (person who has not reached his or her 40th birthday or, if over age 40, has been practicing law five years or less), practice primarily in the area of real property law or probate and trust law, be a PBA member in good standing and demonstrate:
- Excellence in the practice of law and the highest ethical standards;
- Professionalism through participation in the bar association or similar professional activities; and
- A commitment to pro bono legal services.
