(Mar. 19, 2020) – Generally, Certified Specialists are required to complete 9 qualifying hours of CLE to be eligible for renewal as a Certified Specialist in the upcoming year. In light of COVID-19 precautions delaying and cancelling CLE courses, the PBA Workers’ Compensation Certification Committee is in the process of considering options to address these exceptional circumstances as it relates to CLE compliance requirements for Certified Specialists. The Certification Committee will monitor communications from our Supreme Court and the PA CLE Board and will take directives from those bodies into consideration regarding CLE compliance for Certified Specialists. We are sensitive to the extraordinary events of the last few weeks, and will update members as appropriate.
