Grant requests are made in the fall of succeeding fiscal year. The Committee looks for specific information such as the populations, communities or groups being served; the number of lawyers/PBA members involved; the number of students/schools participating and the quantities of educational resources distributed annually, etc. As long as requests conform with the mission of the Grants Committee and the Foundation, they are considered. If the Grants Committee determines that the request meets the mission, a recommendation is provided to the Board to decide if there are financial resources sufficient to grant the request. This has typically been addressed at the Board’s November meeting. If approved, a grant would be earmarked for the next fiscal year.
If you are is interested in applying for a grant, please complete a Grant Application. The deadline for submission is September 30 each year. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Pennsylvania Bar Foundation at (888) 238-3036 or [email protected].
